15 Years of GTA-Only Focus
ProEpoxy Toronto started in 2011 with a single crew doing residential garage floors in North York. The decision from the start was to stay GTA-focused — no national franchise model, no expansion into markets we didn't understand, no diluting quality by spreading too thin.
Over 15 years, that focus produced over 900 completed projects across every category: residential garages, commercial kitchens, warehouse distribution centres, parking structures, schools, and industrial manufacturing floors. Every one of those projects was installed by a ProEpoxy employee — not a subcontractor.
Why Zero Subcontractors Is Non-Negotiable
When a flooring company subcontracts your job, several problems compound:
- Product substitution: Sub crews often use their own materials — not the company's specified system. The product on the invoice and the product on your floor may differ.
- Prep shortcuts: Subcontractors earn on volume. Diamond grinding adds time. Moisture testing adds time. Crack repair adds material cost. Each of these gets cut when the sub is working for margin, not for the company's reputation.
- Warranty orphaning: When the floor fails — and shortcuts always catch up — the parent company blames the sub, and the sub is unreachable. The homeowner or property manager absorbs the loss.
- No accountability chain: The person who sold you the job has never met the person installing it. There is no direct accountability between the sales promise and the installation reality.
ProEpoxy's zero-sub model eliminates all of these risks. The same company that quotes the job trains and pays the crew that installs it. Warranty callbacks go to the same company — and we honour them, because it's our employees' work on the line.

Same-Week Scheduling
With 13 crews active across the GTA, we can typically schedule residential projects within the same week and commercial projects within 5–10 business days.
No Travel Surcharge
Crews are based across the GTA — Scarborough, Etobicoke, Vaughan, Mississauga. No added cost for locations within our standard service area.
Consistent Standard
Every crew follows the same ICRI surface prep standard, the same product specs, and the same quality control checkpoints. Your floor is consistent whether it's crew 3 or crew 11.
Crew Training and Certification
Every ProEpoxy crew lead holds:
- NACE International coatings inspection certification (Level 1 minimum)
- Manufacturer application certification from our industrial epoxy and polyaspartic suppliers
- Completion of ProEpoxy's 90-day internal onboarding program
The 90-day onboarding covers surface preparation to ICRI CSP profiles, product mixing ratios and pot life management, moisture testing with calcium chloride (ASTM F1869) and RH probe (ASTM F2170), quality control checkpoints at each installation phase, and warranty trigger events and how to prevent them.
No crew member installs on a client project until they've completed onboarding. That's a rule, not a policy — it's enforced by crew composition requirements, not by trust.

Warranty: What We Cover, What Others Won't
ProEpoxy's standard warranty covers delamination, peeling, bubbling, and colour fade for 5 years on commercial systems and 3 years on residential systems. Warranty service is performed by ProEpoxy employees — not by "authorized representatives" or callbacks to a third party.
What voids the warranty (and what we document to protect you):
- Undisclosed active moisture above ASTM F1869 threshold at time of install — we moisture test every job and document results
- Chemical exposure outside the specified system's resistance profile — we document the exposure environment in the spec sheet
- Physical impact damage (fork truck incidents, dropped heavy equipment) — excluded from all coating warranties industry-wide
